Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Engagement: establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise on Tactile’s product and services portfolio.
  2. Technical Expertise: possess a deep understanding of Tactile’s product and services portfolio to effectively communicate how Tactile’s products align with client requirements.
  3. Quote and Proposal Development: prepare accurate and detailed proposals based on customer specifications, providing clear explanations of the technical and commercial aspects involved and value offered by Tactile.
  4. Market Intelligence: stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for portfolio improvement and innovation.
  5. Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product- and project management to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects.
  6. Sales Targets: contribute to the achievement of sales targets by actively seeking out new business opportunities and expanding the customer base.
  7. Product Knowledge Sharing: train internal and external stakeholders on Tactile’s product and services portfolio.

Qualifications

  • minimum of 10 years relevant highly relevant experience
  • experienced in working with both partners (resellers) and end users
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to present in a clear and understandable manner
  • results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets
  • proficiency in relevant software and tools for generating presentations
  • you understand the concept of selling value and not only price.
