Tactile Technologies, an organisation synonymous with touch-screen technology, today announced its new own-branded monitor as part of its strategy to fight a weakened local currency.
“Our new Tactile-branded product is a 15-inch desktop touch monitor,” commented Mauro Mercuri, Group Director of Tactile Technologies, “as this size remains one of the most widely used products in our industry, mostly, but not exclusively, for point of sale applications.
“Obviously, any product we choose for our line-up must be of high quality and come with the relevant specifications,” continued Mercuri. “We thoroughly evaluated several manufacturers before electing this one, which, incidentally also has the advantage of being able to be offered at a 25% lower price.”
“The new 15-inch Tactile monitor is sleek and is equipped with the very popular ‘PCAP 10-touch’ technology; comes with a three-year warranty; and has an LCD panel which is of high quality and comes with a great specification,” concluded Mercuri. “Shipments of this product to South Africa are already under way and thus should be available for deliveries in early March. More Tactile-branded products will be introduced in 2016.”
