Tactile now offers two distinct financing paths for customers, and they solve genuinely different problems. This month we’re laying out exactly how each one works, and how to know which one fits your situation.

- TWO PROBLEMS, TWO SOLUTIONS
Working capital, through our Bridgement partnership, solves a cash flow problem. It gives your business access to funds for whatever it needs, stock, payroll, a new hire, without tying that capital to a specific asset.
OPEX financing, through our new partnership with Pendigo, solves a different problem entirely. It removes the upfront capital outlay for specific technology purchases, structuring the cost as a predictable monthly payment instead.
- WHY CASH HAS BECOME SO EXPENSIVE

Higher interest rates have pushed up the cost of capital, and cash flow has shifted from something businesses could spend freely to a critical protective layer. When companies commit large portions of their own funds to technology purchases, they lose flexibility exactly when they are likely to need it most.
- WHAT OPEX ACTUALLY OFFERS

Protecting liquidity, by keeping capital available for operations and growth. Aligning payments to value creation, paying for technology over the period it delivers value. Avoiding the burden of outdated equipment, by replacing assets at the right time. Creating predictable, manageable budgets instead of capital spikes.
- ASK THE SPECIALISTS

Question: We’re planning a multi-site POS rollout next year. Should we use working capital or OPEX financing?
Answer: It depends on what else that capital needs to do. If working capital is going to be stretched across staffing, stock and the rollout all at once, OPEX financing lets you isolate the hardware cost into a predictable monthly line item, freeing up your working capital facility for everything else. If the rollout is the only major capital event on the horizon, a working capital facility might give you more flexibility on timing and drawdown. The two are not mutually exclusive. Many of our clients use both, one for the equipment, one for everything around it.
